In this session, Kapil will take you through a journey across India, exploring the lives of free living dogs in different contexts, and the lessons that they have taught him in his professional life as a pet dog behaviour consultant. Themes such as the role of agency in dog welfare, the influence of humans interventions, and the complexity of human-dog relationships are a key feature in this presentation.
Early Bird Price until November 15th.

As reinforcement-based trainers, we recognize that our dogs have choices: to engage with us or the environment, to stay connected or disengage, and to participate willingly or pursue something else. Our goal is to make working with us rewarding and worthwhile – the first choice and not a consolation prize. We’ll explore how purposeful games and activities shape both how dogs feel about training and how they learn. You’ll discover why games are so effective at building motivation, confidence, engagement, better emotional regulation, and how they shape the habits and attitudes that carry over into everyday life and sport skills.  And, you’ll learn games to lay the foundation for practical skills such as reliable recalls and better focus around distractions to improved loose-leash walking and enthusiastic, precise heelwork and more! Early Bird Price until February 10th.
