Webinar with Julie Flanery February 24th.
Game Changer! Learning to Make Good Choices Through Games
As reinforcement-based trainers, we recognize that our dogs have choices: to engage with us or the environment, to stay connected or disengage, and to participate willingly or pursue something else. Our goal is to make working with us rewarding and worthwhile – the first choice and not a consolation prize. We’ll explore how purposeful games and activities shape both how dogs feel about training and how they learn. You’ll discover why games are so effective at building motivation, confidence, engagement, better emotional regulation, and how they shape the habits and attitudes that carry over into everyday life and sport skills. And, you’ll learn games to lay the foundation for practical skills such as reliable recalls and better focus around distractions to improved loose-leash walking and enthusiastic, precise heelwork and more!
