In this webinar Andrew is exploring the individual lived emotional experience of dogs by offering an introductory insight into areas such as social attachments, sensory processing and the importance of working in a trauma informed way. By challenging some of the received wisdoms around dog training and behaviour, Andrew is offering some new insights into how can work to support dogs especially young and adolescent and those dogs who may struggle around other dogs or novel people. Offering practical examples as well as the theory, Andrew shares videos and case studies to back up.

In this session, Kapil will take you through a journey across India, exploring the lives of free living dogs in different contexts, and the lessons that they have taught him in his professional life as a pet dog behaviour consultant. Themes such as the role of agency in dog welfare, the influence of humans interventions, and the complexity of human-dog relationships are a key feature in this presentation.
